Long Beach

Patrick R. Davis, age 90 of Long Beach, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.

He was a native of Sioux City, Iowa and graduated June, 1951 from Morningside High School in Sioux City.  He enlisted in the United States Air Force September 5, 1951 and received a Medical Honorable Discharge April, 1967.  After leaving the Air Force, Patrick worked in retail management for over 20 years.

Patrick was preceded in death by his wife, Gisela Davis; his mother, Edna Esther Davis; his father, Noah Francis “Dude” Davis; and his sister, Dixie Lee Wrast Mason.

He is survived by his son, Heinz Davis (Patricia) of Starkville, MS; his brother, Ted Davis of Sioux City, Iowa; his grandchildren, Chad Davis (Brandi) of Madison, MS and Lori Lopez Kirkland of Pace, FL; his great grandchildren, Dawson Davis and Ben Davis, both of Madison, MS and Hayden Bosarge of Flora, MS; his “best cousin”, Pauline Adams of Surprise, AZ.

He enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching baseball, football, basketball, and hockey.

A special thanks to his loving friends and neighbors, Jake and Teri Sitniker of Long Beach, the staff at Gulfport Care Center for their loving care, and caretaker and special friend, Pria.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM, Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Biloxi National Cemetery.

Riemann Family Funeral Home, Long Beach is serving the family.
