William Allen “Bill” Balog, age 72 of Saucier, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William L. Balog and Alta E. Bragg-Rainwater; his brother, Timothy Balog; his son, Joseph E. Balog; and his best friend of 35 years, Bill Johnson.

Bill is survived by his wife of 18 years, Shirley Balog (but had been together since winter of 1994); his children, Alta Doeing (Mark) of Gulfport, David Balog (Cathy) of Biloxi, Malissa Rutledge (Johnnie), Lafayette, GA, Melissa Perkins (Aaron) of Titusville, FL, Jennifer Seymour (Luke), Sacramento, CA, and Ashley York (Erik) of Saucier; his siblings, Karen Summers (John), Cheryl Wenbert (Robert), Patty Baylor, and Michael Balog; his grandchildren, Alyssa Doeing, Joseph Slade, Stephanie Balog, Michael J. Balog, Brian Rutledge, Alexander Rutledge, Cameron Rutledge, Brandon Rutledge, Denton Vultaggio, Hakan Vultaggio, Aubrie Delmont-Seymour, Elise Delmont-Seymour, Emma Delmont-Seymour, Tyler Conley, and Kailyn York; his great grandchildren, Kara Bonney, Dante Bonney-Doeing, Synyster Slade, and Lillyan Rutledge; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to all who knew him. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at the lake house that he and the love of his life built together 21 years ago.

Bill dedicated the last 31 years of his life as an owner/operator of his Subway Franchises.

He requested to be returned to his favorite vacation spot, where he and Shirley renewed their vows in Maui, Hawaii.
