Viree Mamie Davis Odom, age 92, of Kiln, passed away on May 27, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her children, Charles Ray Odom, Evelyn Lillie Blanc, Martha Sue Saucier, and Donald Joel Odom; a grandson, Jay Blanc; her siblings, Mildred Odom, Johnny Davis, Joe Davis, and Marie Murdock.
Survivors include her children, Patricia Taylor (George), Glenn Odom (Mary), Cindy Lichtenstein (Philip), Timmy Odom (Sharon); a sister, Mardelle Fredrick; a son-in-law, James Blanc; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Odom retired from Hancock North Central School where she worked in the cafeteria for many years. She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church and she enjoyed growing vegetables in her garden, growing flowers, sewing, and making quilts.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at 10 am in St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
