Tammy Griffing

Mrs. Tammy Mechelle Griffing, 57, of Gulfport, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on January 17, 2021.

Tammy was born November 10, 1963, in Rainbow City, AL, the daughter of Ernest L. Towe and the late Dorothy Jean Lloyd Fountain. Tammy enjoyed reading, cooking, and flower gardening. She especially loved the beach. She loved people. In addition to her mother, Tammy is preceded in death by her step-father, Harold Fountain; sister, Cindy Grant, and father-in-law, Richard Griffing, Sr.

Tammy is survived by her husband, Thomas Griffing, Jr.; her father, Ernest L. Towe and his wife, Wanda; her mother-in-law, Catherine Griffing; one sister, Teresa Lofton and her husband, Chris; two brothers, Michael Towe and his wife, Jane, and Todd Towe and his wife, Cathy; one sister-in-saw, Anne Rominger and her husband, Dean, and a number of nieces, nephews, and great nephews.

Graveside services will be held Friday, January 22, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. from Floral Hills Cemetery with Reverend Randy Davidson officiating.
