Susan Smiley

Susan “Su” Lorraine Smiley, age 79, passed away on May 9, 2022 in Ocean Springs, MS.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Smiley; parents, Frederick Lippert and Laura Fischer Lippert; and brother, Frederick “Bruzzy” Lippert II.

She is survived by two children, Mark Smiley (Rita) of Freeport, FL, Laura Smiley of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; two grandchildren, Rachel Smiley and Shelby Hillebrand; step-grandchildren, Meagan Hall (Andrew), Charles Farris, Jr.; step great grandchildren Ethan, Christian and MacKenzie Hall; and her favorite pets Lauren, Mia and Ollie.

She was a proud US Air Force spouse, supporting her husband for many years, and worked as an administrator for the State at South Mississippi Regional Center.  Her favorite hobbies were sewing and puzzles.

Private burial will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Ave. Biloxi, MS.
