Roger KIng

October 19, 1959 — July 19, 2021

Vancleave

Roger Allen King aka "KOKA" of Vancleave, was born on October 19, 1959 in Biloxi and went to his Heavenly home on July 19, 2021 surrounded by his sisters and brother-in-law.

Roger was a 1977 graduate of St. Martin High School and a life long resident of Ocean Springs. He held several jobs in his life but his true passion and love was being a master carpenter. The things this man could build amazed most.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, Jeep riding, and hanging out at "Lucky 13" with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Ann Chunn King; and his oldest brother, Aaron Joseph "Joey" King.

He is survived by his 2 sons, Shane Allen King and Chandler Dane King; his loving father, Aaron Roger King; 2 sisters, Lori King and Paula (Keith) Cassidy; nieces and nephew, Vanessa Aucoin, Tabetha Jones, and Anthony J. DeJardine, II; other relatives and many friends.

If you are ever at Gil's Fish Camp, grab you a shot of Apple Crown and a cold Michelob Ultra in his memory.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 24, 2021, from 12 pm - 2 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd, West Jackson County. The funeral service will be at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Seymour Cemetery.
