Raymond Andrew Wilson, age 61, a native of Oak Grove, Missouri, and long-time resident of Ocean Springs, Mississippi passed away on October 7, 2021 in Ocean Springs.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond H. and Mary Wilson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Christine N. Wilson; his children, Eric Yingling (Jessica) of Missouri, Jaclyn Smith (Adam) of Starkville, MS and Kayla Wilson of Ocean Springs, MS.; his siblings, Kenneth Wilson (Michelle) of South Dakota, and Charles Wilson (Marga) of Ocean Springs; Dave Kilgore and George Kilgore of Missouri; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Raymond was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army, he had an Associates Degree in Electronics, he was not only a jungle expert, but was a sharp shooter. He eventually retired from the biomedical field. He was a member of Grace Independent Baptist Church. He loved playing the Bass guitar, riding motorcycles, was an avid Saints and Kansas City Chiefs fan, but most of all loved spending time with his family and friends.
No services are planned at this time. The family request donations of blood to Mississippi Blood Services be made in Raymond’s honor, or monetary contributions to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) be made.
