Peggy King

Peggy Jean King, age 79 of Long Beach, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022.

She was a native of Gulfport and was a waitress for the family owned business and a family owned cleaning business where she cleaned homes.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Annie Webster; her siblings, Roy King, Tommy King, Linda McCarthy, and Valecea Ladner.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jack King; her children, Mike King (April), Cindy Frizzell (Pat), Gary King (Debbie), and Tracy King (Marla); her siblings, Tommy Webster (Jerrie), Roy Webster (Barbara Stevens)Barbara, and Linda Webster (Rick McCarthy); her grandchildren, Michael King, Jr., Trace King, Chris King, Stephanie King (Parker), Tyler King, and Ryanne Dertinger; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Parker, Eva Becerra, Chace Parker, Bowen Parker, and Blaine Parker; and many other relatives.

Peggy was saved on a Thursday night, February 24, 1972, and became a very dedicated Sunday School teacher.  She was a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church.

She enjoyed sewing, cooking, cleaning, attending yard sales, crossword puzzles, studying the bible, and loving the Lord.  Peggy was a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother.  She always helped those in need and dedicated her life to the Lord.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Monday, June 27, 2022, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, MS.  The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel, followed by the interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
