Naomi Seymour

Naomi Ruth Schmidt Seymour, age 88, of Biloxi, passed away on April 27, 2021.

Mrs. Seymour was born in Biloxi to Bradley Eugene and Mary Herring Schmidt. She attended school in St. Martin where she met her future husband and where their life's journey began. She and Norwood married in 1950 and began their 70 year marriage, their family, and life in ministry here on the Coast. She dedicated to her life to serving her Lord, her church, and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Norwood "Buck" Seymour, Jr.; granddaughter, Jacqueline Morgan; brothers, Charles Wesley Schmidt and James Marvin Schmidt.

She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Norwood Seymour, Sr.; children, David Alan Seymour (Lisa), and Deborah Lynn Wedgeworth (Russell); grandchildren, Melanie Pittman, Brandon Seymour, Ashley Krohn, and Clinton Seymour; and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. at Washington Avenue, at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.

Burial will follow at Wilkerson Cemetery.
