Mary Rodney

Mary “D” Rodney age 90, of Hattiesburg, MS., passed away on October 8, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eric Rodney; and her parents Alfred and Irma Schwab.

Mary is survived by her only son, Tim Rodney of Sumrall; her sister, Martha Buhler; three grandchildren, Yates Rodney, Graham Rodney, and Walker Rodney.

She was a native of Gulfport, MS. Mary absolutely loved her family, she was a great mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved the Lord.

Mary received her nursing degree from Northwestern University. She worked her entire nursing career with the V.A. After retirement Mary enjoyed spending her time volunteering, her favorite place to volunteer was at the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center.

A visitation will be held for family and friends at 10:30 AM until the funeral service at 11:30 PM, Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. Interment will take place at Biloxi National Cemetery.
