Mary Lisa Fairley Franklin, age 55, of the Nugent community, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.
Mary was born March 30, 1965 in Gulfport and was a graduate of Harrison Central High School. She was co-founder of Fairley Tire & Rubber Disposal in Lumberton, from which she retired due to health reasons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilford and LuVern Fairley. Mary is survived by her husband, W. E. “Big Ed” Franklin, Jr.; her son, W. E. “Lil Ed” Franklin, III and his wife, Amanda; her siblings, Tillie Cuevas, Farris Fairley and his wife, Mary, Martha Edwards and her husband, Bobo, Althea Turan, Floyd Fairley and his wife, Lisa, and Mark Fairley and his wife, Penny; numerous beloved nieces and nephews; her In-laws, Walter and Sallie Franklin; her sisters-in-law, Nicki Franklin, Gwynn McKay and her husband, Rob Gentry; nephew, “Lil Joe” McKay and wife, Kymberly, and their girls, Danyelle and Kyndell; and best friend, Kim Hogue.
Mary will be dearly missed and her beautiful smile will be carried in our hearts forever.
Friends are invited to join the family for a graveside service on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 2:00pm at Wolf River Cemetery.
