Lenora Willis

Lenora Ann Willis, age 84, of Sharon, TN, passed away on July 1, 2020, in Gulfport, MS.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.M. Willis; a daughter, Teresa Jo Willis; her parents, Joe and Annie Harris Prater; a sister, Marie Prater Vinsett; and 2 brothers, Joe Prater, Jr., and Jesse Allen Prater.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Michael Willis (Charlotte) and David Willis (Jo Duncan); a brother, Billy Prater; 8 grandchildren, Chris, Teresa, Michael, Jonathan, Codie, Tyler, Savannah, and Isabella; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mrs. Willis worked outside the home for 20 years at Kellwood. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her God, her family, and her church and she had a quiet strength and a loving nature. Lenora was impeccable dresser and she loved photographs which was evident with the number of photographs on her wall of those she loved. She loved working in her yard, reading her bible, and she could make a mean biscuit! She was a member of Sidonia Assembly of God Church and her memories will be cherished.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Virginia Hayes for a lifetime of companionship and her willingness to always help.
