Josie Clinton

Josie Bacud Clinton, a native of the Philippines and obtained her U.S. citizenship in Houston, TX, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021, at the age of 72.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Rev. Ward A Clinton, USN (Ret.); children, Jessica Clinton, Debbie (Rex) Borsil; siblings, Cora (Dave) McPherson of KY, Carolina Soriano of Chicago, IL, and Virgie Cahutay of Baguio, Philippines.

Josie was a seamstress and tailor.  She was a Banquet Chef at the Pacific Star Hotel, a 5-star hotel/restaurant in Guam.  She received training by Master Chef Histo of Iron Chef fame.  She loved cooking, caretaking, gardening, was a football and basketball fan.  Josie was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

We loved to hear her say, “America is my beautiful country.”
