John Robinson

June 7, 1930 — February 21, 2021

Biloxi

John T. Robinson, of Biloxi, passed away on February 21, 2021 after being diagnosed only 3 weeks ago with Lymphoma.

John was a native of Midland, Michigan.  He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 26 years of service and then worked at the Biloxi VA for 13 years.  He was a devout parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi and a devoted adoration Chapel Worshiper.  John loved wood working, pilot/flying small aircraft, repairing statues/ pews etc. for his church, reading about the lives of the saints and the Bible. He received the Lumen Christi Award “The Light of Christ”.

Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lillian Robinson; devoted father to his daughters, Mary (Robert) Mason, Shirley Robinson, and Lilly (Gary M.) Stein; his grandchildren, Laura Courtenay, Shaina Egbert, and Christian Robinson; his great grandchildren, Hollis, Maryn, Bennett, Eric, Christina, Daniel, Lillian, Ava Claire, Piper, and Nolan; and his brother, Gene (Marilyn) Robinson.

John taught his family unconditional love by his example and was always centering on loving one another.  He had a positive attitude with a twist of humor and those were undeniably his trademarks.

In Lieu of flowers please make donations to Our Lady of Fatima St. Vincent De Paul or to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM, on Friday, March 5, 2021, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Biloxi with a visitation starting at 12:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
