John Leister

John D. Leister, age 51, of Biloxi, passed away on September 15, 2020 in Gulfport.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Shirley Leister and John and Hazel Webb; and an uncle, David Leister.

He is survived by a daughter, Jessica Leister; his parents, Kenneth and Carolyn Leister; a sister, Kini Gonsoulin; a nephew, Case Gonsoulin; an aunt, Marilyn (Larry) Rippeon; an uncle, Mick Leister; and several cousins.

John was a graduate of D’Iberville High School and later served in the U.S. Army for 4 years.

The family will have a private graveside service in the Biloxi National Cemetery.
