John Alliston, III

John Clark Alliston III, 76, of Saucier passed away July 2, 2020 in Gulfport, MS. He was proceeded in death by his parents, John Clark JR and Edwina Alliston and his brother Cecil Alliston.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Judy Elaine Alliston; his four children and their spouses John Clark IV and Mandy Alliston, Paula Michelle and Dr. Chris Rainey, Bridget Rene and Kevin Mauffray, and   Ashleigh Nicole and Micah Butterfield; and his 10 grandchildren Ryan Rainey, Aaron Rainey, Julia Caudil Russel, Emily Mauffray, John Clark Alliston V, Alyssa Alliston, Emma Butterfield, Callie Butterfield, Marin Alliston and Samuel Butterfield. His four siblings and their spouses Edwin Alliston, Janet and Bud Saucier, Sharon and Mike Sumral, and Naomi and Cleve Cobb.

He owned and operated Hardware Plus in Saucier, MS for 32 years. He was a member of Northwood Church in Gulfport, MS. He loved cars. He enjoyed drag racing in his younger days and always looked forward to Cruisin’ the Coast. He also enjoyed taking care of his yard.

The family wishes to thank Gulfport Care Center for their compassionate care and to Kare-In-Home Hospice for the superb care in the very last days of his life.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 5th from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at Northwood Church, Gulfport. Burial will follow at Rouse Cemetery in Saucier.
