Joann Drummond

Joann Cooper Drummond, age 67 of Pass Christian, MS went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.

Joann was born in Grand Prairie, TX on November 18, 1953 to the late Charles William and Wanda Ruth Cooper. Joann graduated from Sam Houston High School in Arlington, TX in 1971. She enjoyed working and traveling with the carnival for several years, before managing several retail stores and restaurants in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. She loved her family and friends immensely, especially her grandchildren. She loved watching videos they would send her of them doing all sorts of activities.

Joann was preceded in death by her father, Charles William Cooper; her mother, Wanda Ruth Cooper, and her granddaughter, Emily Hagemier.

Joann is survived by her children, Jimmy O’Neal (Amy) of Clinton, MO, Misty Hagemier (Bobby) of Long Beach, MS; Kelly Hintsala (Alan) of Las Vegas, NV; her sisters, Linda Cantrell, and Carolyn Kinnard of Arlington,TX.

Joann requested before her passing for no service to be held, but instead a Celebration of Life, which the family will set for a later date.

RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach is assisting the family with arrangements.
