James Murray

James C. Murray, age 73, of Biloxi, MS, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020.

James was born on December 6,1946 to Anthony Joseph (AJ) and Florence Murray in McIntosh, Alabama.

He was a welder by trade and spent the majority of his career working at Huntington Ingalls. After working over forty years at Ingalls, Pawpaw retired and his favorite past-times became fishing and gambling with his family and friends. He was also a huge fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide football team and would always greet you with a hearty "ROLL TIDE!"

His sense of humor and humble presence will forever be remembered and cherished in the lives of his children: Vinson (Bonnie) Murray, Anthony (Stephenie) Murray and Travis Murray; grandchildren: Brandon Murray, Loren Lara, Kaylyn Gartrell, Tamara Mariakis, Lindsey Murray and Nicholas Murray; and great grandchildren: Isabella Lara and Carter Mariakis.

The family would like to extend their gratitude for the loving care and support provided to Pawpaw by the nurses and Mr. Kenneth Hembree of Kindred Hospice.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
