James Moody

James Calvin Moody passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021 in Plano, Texas. James was born February 1, 1954 in La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin, France to James Henry Moody and Mary Ann Gleeson Moody. He attended Notre Dame High School in Biloxi, MS and the College of the Red Woods, Eureka, CA. James moved to Texas to be near his family and became a team member at Taco Delite West in 1994; he is remembered by his Taco-D family and customers for always coming to work with a smile, talking about sports, and singing his rock n roll!

James was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Charles Henry Moody and Raymond Louis Moody; his sister, Dolores Patricia Poelma Johnson and his precious niece, Windy Porter Strickland.
Left to cherish his memory are his three sisters, Marie Terese Cruthirds, Janice Elaine Porter and Elizabeth Jane Johnson; brothers-in-law, Allen Cruthirds and Richard Porter; nephews, John Poelma, Shane Valencia, Wade Valencia-Moody, Gregory Cruthirds, Jason Porter, Joshua Johnson and Dalton Johnson; nieces, Yvonne Poelma Husley, Susan Poelma Sibley, and Amy Cruthirds Wendt, as well as numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives and Taco Delight friends.
Celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, West Jackson County, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd, Biloxi, MS 39532. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.riemannfamily.com
