He was a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, Hancock Bar Association, the Bay St. Louis Masonic Lodge 429, Pi Kappa Alpha, Gideons International, Phi Delta Phi, a chosen member of the Moot Court Board and reigned as the King for Our Lady of the Gulf Carnival Ball in 1981.

George was an upstanding member of the Main Street United Methodist Church. He served on their Board of Trustees and was a member of the Men’s Bible Class.  He enjoyed anything to do with Mississippi State Athletics, the Atlanta Braves, the New Orleans Saints and working out at the gym.

Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.riemannfamily.com

As a father he taught us how to love, how to work hard, how to multitask (reading the paper and watching sports), and that life may not be fair but it’s a wonderful thing!

For the celebration of life, we would love to have you write down a favorite story or memory of him so we can see how he touched the lives of others.

The family would like to thank Dr. Bert Chevis and staff, Ochsner Hancock, MS Home Care and Southern Care Hospice Services.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Main Street United Methodist Church Book of Remembrance, Hancock County CASA or Hancock County Animal.  The Riemann Family Funeral Home, in Waveland is proudly serving the family.  Share condolences, memories and photos at www.riemannfamily.com
