Gary Necaise

December 9, 1965 — June 27, 2020

Kiln

Gary Wayne Necaise, age 54, of Kiln, MS, passed away suddenly on June 27, 2020, in West Palm Beach, FL.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jason Joseph Necaise; his paternal grandparents, Monroe and Cornelia Necaise; and his maternal grandparents, Sullivan and Mary Peterson.

Gary Wayne is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kathy Haas Necaise; his mother, Betty N. Necaise; his children, Morgan Leigh Necaise, Krisjon Joseph Wilkerson (Kaitlyn), and Garrett Jason Necaise; a sister, Pamela Winston (Jimmy); an expecting granddaughter in December 2020; 3 nieces, Keeli Winston, Brittany Whitten Ladner, and Jazmin Winston; along with several other aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

He was a lifelong resident of Hancock County and was a 1983 graduate of Hancock North Central High School and a graduate of Pearl River Community College with a certification in HVAC. Gary loved and adored his wife, Kathy, and he loved spending time with her. He loved to sing and dance with her, even when no one was watching. Gary enjoyed all aspects of music: listening, singing, and playing the guitar. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Gary also loved riding around the beaches, especially during a hurricane. Most of all, Gary loved his three children and was a dedicated father who loved watching them play sports and pursue their dreams.

Gary was extremely helpful and giving to others, no matter the cause. He was kind, loving, tender hearted, and very talkative – never meeting a stranger. He was loved by many and a friend to all who knew him. Gary’s smile and spirit was unforgettable and would light up an entire room. He had the ability to make anyone laugh with his sweet sense of humor. Gary will be missed by so many, especially his wife, children, mom, and sister, but he will live on forever in their hearts.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, from 2 pm – 6 pm at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, White Cypress. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 6 pm in the church.
