Frank Joseph Abadie, III, age 66, of Kiln, passed away on July 22, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Hermann Abadie; his father, Frank Joseph Abadie, II; and a great-niece, Heaven Leigh Wilson.
He is survived by his son, Trevor (Tiara) Abadie; 2 brothers, Michael Abadie and Robert Abadie; 2 grandchildren, MaKinzee Manuel and Kyndyn Manuel; nieces and nephews, Sharon Abadie, Britney (Todd) Wilson, Michael Abadie, Jr., Coty Abadie, and Kellie Saucier and children; great-nieces and nephews, Ashiya Abadie, Braylon Robinson, Kayson Wilson, Zander Wilson, Reece Wilson; and an extensive amount of friends and family which was a huge part of his life.
He was a resident of New Orleans over 30 years and he has been a resident of Hancock County for the past 30 years. He was a graduate of Abramson High School and worked as a carpenter by trade and he was also employed at Baptist Hospital in New Orleans for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, softball, watching football with family, horse racing, and he really enjoyed his most recent hobby – shooting pool. Mr. Frank was a Christian.
Thank you to all of our family and friends for all of the love and support throughout all the years. I am truly grateful for all of the love each and everyone shared with my dad. He never met a stranger and he liked everyone. You will always be loved and truly missed by everyone. I love you forever and always dad! Love Trevor.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 30, 2020, from 12 PM – 2 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church, Hwy 603, Kiln. The funeral service will be at 2 PM in the church.
