Elizabeth Maguire

Elizabeth "Betty" Maguire, age 85, of Biloxi passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020.

Mom was an anchor for the family and there to help whenever and wherever! You taught us so much that has led our lives in a great direction, which now is being passed on to another generation. We are a reflection of what you believe and stand for.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Byron William Maguire Jr.; her parents, Arthur and Marie (Covert) Trott; two brothers, Arthur Trott and Robert Trott; and her son-in-law, Don Strawn.

She is survived by her children, William (Melanie) Maguire of Murfreesboro, TN, Cathy Strawn of Huntsville, AL, Diane (Thomas) Payne of Biloxi, MS, David (Jane) Maguire of Huntsville, AL; her grandchildren, Kelly Maguire, Wil (Liz) Maguire, Will (Jena) Strawn, Matt Strawn, Tiffany Payne, Katie Payne, Jenny (Dan) Bisson, Corey (Jen) Maguire, Shane (Chasity) Maguire, Zach Maguire, and Jacob Maguire; her great-grandchildren, Levi Strawn, Nicholas Whitehead, Addie Whitehead, Peyton Hemphill, Noah Bisson, Liam Maguire, Sage Maguire, and Maverick Maguire; and her sister, Sarah Trott of Binghamton, NY.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Blvd, Biloxi, MS. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Biloxi is serving the family.
