Cynthia McRae

Cynthia Louise McRae, age 57 of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Davis Jarrett; her brothers, Billy Osiris McRae and Robert Gilmore McRae; and her sister, Debbie Beaver.

Cynthia is survived by her husband of 24 years, Hollis Taylor IV; her parents, Mike and Louise Smith; her children, Sabrina Marie Thompson, Jamie Louise Cuevas, Sammy Joe Jarrett II, and Linda Burkett ; her grandchildren, AvaLynn Jarrett, Rhylee Thompson, Bentley Roberts, Alivia Aristizabal, Nash Taylor, Millie Grice, Jacob Jarrett, Abigail Jarrett, Emmalynn Jarrett, Lillianna Jarrett, Chase Burkett, Corbin Burkett, and Elora Burkett; her siblings, Lisa Ann Hickman (Tracy) and Christopher Roland McRae; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

“Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy and free.”

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
