Coleen “Dolly” Regina Sullivan, age 73, passed away on May 5, 2022 in Mobile, AL.
She was a longtime resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She worked as a Walmart greeter in D’Iberville since the store opened, and was known fondly as the “Sock Lady” for her elaborate display of funny socks. She was loving, caring and compassionate. She loved going to the casino and working in her yard.
She was of Catholic faith and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gautier.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Francis Sullivan; parents, James and Alice Grady; sisters, Josephine, Polly, Agnes, and Chickie; son in law, Richard Alan Brown; and brother in law, Richard Thomas Sullivan.
She was survived by her four children, Denise Ann Brown of Biloxi, Richard Daniel Sullivan of Ocean Springs, Regina Marie Slay of Gautier, Daniel Colby Sullivan (Sherri) of Vancleave; 8 grandchildren, Brandon Brown, Brittany Brown Fazzio (Cory), Tyler Sullivan, Daniel Sullivan (Hedi), Darrie Slay, Danyel Sullivan, Caleb Sullivan, Mason Rockwell; 4 great grandchildren, Rixen Fazzio, Kaelynn Sullivan, Kyia Sullivan, Maggie Lynn Richburg; siblings, Patricia Grady of Springfield, IL and Mike Grady (Terri) of Tombstone, AZ; brother and sister in laws, Patrick J. Sullivan (Carolyn) of Boca Grande, FL, Mike Sullivan (Lucy) of Boliver, MO, Sue Heckencamp (Chuck) of Pleasant Plains, IL; and her beloved dog Ginger.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 5:00 p.m., with visitation starting at 4:00 p.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. West Jackson County.
