Mr. Kornman was a native of Biloxi, MS and has been a longtime resident of Diamondhead. He graduated from St. Martin High School in 1961 and started his career working on a milk truck with his dad. He began at A & P in Biloxi and then spent the rest of his life working in the grocery store business as a store manager at National Food Store, Choice Supermarket, and Rouses Diamondhead Market.

He loved camping, fishing, and traveling especially to the Smokey Mountains and Cades Cove. He has always been a diehard Saints fan and was thrilled to see them win a Super Bowl. He loved his family and loved keeping up with their accomplishments and events in their lives. He was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in the Kiln.

During his life and career, he has met many friends and enjoyed keeping in contact with them. He was always more than willing to help anyone in need, friends or family, without even being asked.
