Charles Anthony "Tony" Fabela-Contorno, age 47, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 in Gulfport, MS.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Georgia and Charles Tilton, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Alma and Oral Bagby; paternal uncle, John Wesley Tilton; maternal uncles, Glen Bagby and James Bagby; and maternal sibling, Phillip Dente.

Tony is survived by Michael Fabela-Contorno (married on May 17, 2012 - August 28, 2018); his mother, Deborah Ketten; his father, Charles Tilton, Jr.; his paternal siblings, spouse and children, Damien and Camille Tilton and their children Christian, Eden and Christopher Jude Tilton, Michael Shane and Rosie Tilton and their children, Rosie, Erica, TJ, Macy Lynn, Brittany and Logan Tilton, and Heather Bradley and her children, Emma Grace and Blake Bradley; maternal sibling, spouse and children, Brandon and Staci Dente and their children, Coley and Zackary Dente; maternal aunts, uncles and cousins, Patricia Bagby and her daughter, Angela Sanches and her children, Devin, Taylor and Olivia Sanches, Michael Brackett and his daughter, Shelby, Daniel and Jana Bracket and their children, McKayla and Addilyn, James Bagby and his children, Jason and Tiffany Bagby and their children, Chase, Kade, Kloe, Chastity, Krystal and Billy Joe Hickman and their child, Seth and Brittany Bagby; and her goddaughter, Jazz; Ollileen and Greg Edison and their child, Cansis and Lewin Gray and their child, Cadence, Glen Bagby's daughter, Carrie Pierce and her son, Abel.

He had so many close friends, but there are certain ones he referred to as his second family and we believe he would want them to be mentioned as well, Tiffany and Scott Swan and their children, Baylee, Dakota, and Daniel, Greg and Baby John Pafford, Kellie Neese, Lilly and Shirley Jamison.

Tony was a native of Louisiana but most recently called the MS Gulf Coast home. He attended Bastrop High School in Bastrop, Louisiana. Later he attended Louisiana Technical College in West Monroe, LA and studied EMT-Basic. Afterwards, he attended Great Rivers Vo-Tech in McGee, AR and studied EMT-Paramedics.

His passion was saving lives at Pafford EMS. After years of working in the ambulance, Tony's expertise in his field earned him positions as Supervisor and eventually Regional Manager. Tony was the Regional Manager of Leflore, Oktibbeha, and Washington Counties in MS when he passed. There were times Tony worked for other EMS in LA and MS, but Pafford EMS was "home."
Tony loved to watch LSU football games and enjoyed spending time with family, 2nd family and friends when he wasn't working. He was truly always the "Life of the Party."

Tony's life celebration will be held at the Bastrop Municipal Center, with his final resting place at Red Wing Cemetery in West Carroll Parish, Louisiana, several weeks from now. The date and time will be announced via a Facebook post to Tony's wall. You may reach out to his brother, Brandon Dente, via Facebook messenger as well.

The family would like to thank everyone for the posts, texts, calls, prayers, stories and positive thoughts everyone has shared.
