Carol Cheatham

Carol M. Cheatham, age 88, of Biloxi, MS, passed away on September 23, 2022.

Carol was a native of Gulfport. She graduated from Orange Grove High School, received a BS degree from Southern Miss and MS from William Carey College.  She worked for the Jackson County School System and retired after 30 years.  Carol loved traveling, reading but spending time with her family was when she was her happiest.  She was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church in Biloxi.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Bobby H. Cheatham; her father, Gordon T. Middleton; her mother, Willie M. Middleton; her daughter, Kimberly G. Cheatham; her brothers, Billie R. Middleton, and Jack Middleton; and her sisters, Gail M. Ficke, Barbara Lesso, and Beverly Beleau.  She is survived by her son, Billy J. Cheatham (Stephanie); her daughter, Patricia L. Cheatham; her siblings, Jill Beck, Nashville, Tn, Janie Crampton, Colorado Springs, Co, Linda Long (Bob), Atlanta, GA, Pola Cannette, Biloxi, MS, and Judy Butler (Joel), Pensacola, FL; her grandchildren, Rachael Helmke, Jamie Bothello, Nathan Cheatham, Nicholas Cheatham, Kyla McHenry, and Adam K. McHenry;  her great grandchildren, Annalise Bothello, Avelin Bothello, Jackson Helmke and Reese Helmke.

The family would like to thank our aunts that stayed and helped so much in our mother’s final days.
