Bennie Necaise

Bennie Necaise, Jr., age 69 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Sunday, January 16, 2011, in Gulfport.
Mr. Necaise was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Gulfport and a retired employee of Deviney Construction.
Resting before him was a son, David Necaise, of Mountain Home, AR; a grandson, Matthew Daniel Rowe; his mother, Nelia Ladner; and a brother, Rosie Necaise.
There is a worn, empty pair of shoes that can never be filled resting beside dad's recliner. In his place are only precious memories found. Sitting in the recliner's mate reflecting on a shared lifetime is his wife of 43 years, Sharon.
Retracing his footsteps are seven children, Bennie (Sherry) Necaise, III of Tebbetts, MO, Judy (Barney) Dedeaux of Perkinston, William ""Bill"" (Jennifer) Necaise of Gulfport, Eugene (Darlene) Necaise of Gulfport, Faye (Arthur) Ladner of Gulfport, Jerrell (Brandi) Necaise of Gulfport, and Tonya (Kevin) Brown of Gulfport. Missing shared strolls are 20 grandchildren, Tyler and Amber Necaise, Bobby, Bradley, Steven Brittany, and Stephanie Dedeaux, Jennifer (Michael) Necaise, Christopher, Jonathan, and Zachary Necaise, Josh and Kayla Ladner, Marissa Pritchard, Alexa and Catherine Necaise, and Haley Brown. Snapshots of his path will be shared with his two great grandchildren, Austin Taylor and Jorja Dedeaux.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach, from 6pm-9pm.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2011, at 11am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at the Necaise Family Cemetery on Landon Road in Gulfport.
