Barbara Natisha Mathis, age 38, passed away on October 8, 2020 in Gulfport, formerly of Taylorsville, MS.
Tisha was born with Cerebral Palsy with resulting deformities, and suffered with seizures. Tisha enjoyed her life to the fullest, loved parties, going to school, listening to music, painting pictures, she was a gifted artist. Her paintings hang inside and outside of our home. She was always so excited to see family members.
Tisha succumbed to breast cancer after a year of remission and recurrence.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Koren Robert Mathis; maternal great-grandmother, Kate Graves Page, great-grandfather, Liyphous McGill, step-father, Ed Pilmer, Special Uncle, Jessie Killings
She is survived by her mother, Karen Pilmer; sister, Olivia Pilmer; brother, Shane Mathis; grandparents, Bobbie Mathis, Anthony Frances, Bobbie Oke Francis, and Anthony Francis; aunts, Kaye Mayfield and Donna Page; uncles, Rodrick Page and Yinka Oke(Michelle); niece, Imani Mathis; cousins, Chillies Oke, Alex Oke, Michelle Oke, Kayla Keys, Fredrick Keys, Justin Killings, and Reggie Keys.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30PM on Friday, October 16, 2020 at Finley Cemetery in Gulfport.
