Barbara Brunelle

Barbara J. Brunelle, age 88 of Bay St. Louis, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021. She was born in Vassalboro, Maine on November 30, 1932 to Stanton W. Ayer and Gladys Morrison Ayer.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert E. Brunelle; her son and daughter in law, Scott B. and Theresa Brunelle; and her daughter in law, Mary Ann Bounds Brunelle.

She is survived by her sons, Robert S. Brunelle (Robin) of Florida and Randy C. Brunelle of Bay St. Louis; her daughter, Bonnie C. Wagoner (Tim) of Gulfport; her grandchildren, Ryan, Randy Jr, Erica Brunelle, and Michael Wagoner; and three great grandchildren.

Barbara was a dedicated wife, mother, and friend. She had the opportunity to travel throughout the US and Guam while her late husband was in the Air Force. She always said that she wanted to visit Europe, but just being with her family was all that she needed. Barbara was an avid crocheter and would crochet blankets for family, friends, and lap blankets for the elderly in nursing homes. Barbara's eyesight was taken from her later in life, but it did not take away her spirit.

The family would like to thank the Dunbar Village Staff and Notre Dame Hospice for taking care of their mother.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021, at 10:00 AM, at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
