On Sunday, May 30, 2021, Arthur E. DuBois, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away at the age of 70.

Art was born on March 27, 1951 in Goshen, NY, to Edward and Anna M. DuBois. He served in the United States Army for 14 years and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked driving trucks and cement hauling for another 15 years.

After meeting at the Hullabaloo and nine years of courtship, Art married his devoted wife Judy, August 16, 1975. Together they raised two sons, James and Joseph. They lived and traveled amazing places together.

Art loved the water, hunting and NASCAR. He also had a passion to serve his community and other Veterans, like himself. Art was a lifetime member of the DAV. Once he even rode on top of a vehicle as Santa Claus. He was a volunteer firefighter and on the dive team for the city of Norwood in New York. Art enjoyed being an Assistant Scout Leader for Boy Scouts. He will always be remembered for his generous spirit, quiet kindness and devotion to family.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Anna.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; his sons, James and Joseph; his sisters, Debra DuBois and Michelle DuBois; his brother, Rick Harms; and of course, his grandchildren.

A private service will be held among family members.

RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, is serving the family.
