Anna Rose Swiatowy, age 59, a longtime resident of Biloxi, passed away in Ocean Springs, MS on Monday, February 15, 2021 surrounded by her family.
She was the Civilian Personnel Liaison for the 81st Training Support Squadron at Keesler Air Force Base.  “Ms. Anna,” as she was affectionately referred to, dedicated 41 years of her life to serving our Air Force, both in uniform and as a civilian.  Following a tremendous career as Personnel Specialist NCO and retiring from the 403rd Wing, Anna went on to serve as a civilian member of our Air Force team for over 37 years.  During those years, she spent time with both the 335 TRS and then she joined the 81 TRSS in 2012.  “Her hard work and decades of dedication to the Air Force had a profound impact on countless people and missions,” as quoted by Colonel Heather W. Blackwell, USAF, Commander, 81st  Training Wing.
Anna was born in Landstuhl, Germany to her late beloved parents, James C.  and Trudy Swiatowy.  She followed in her father’s footsteps and joined the USAF Reserves after graduation from
Kaiserslautern American High School in Germany, Class of 1979. She loved traveling, especially visiting her sisters in Oklahoma.   Anna enjoyed collecting angels and crosses. She loved to shop for gifts for all occasions for the little ones in her family, as well as for all the little one in families she loved so dearly.  Anna loved all people and was a tender, loving and giving person.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish memories of their sister are her siblings, Mike Swiatowy and his wife Darla, Margie Taylor and her husband Jeff, Maryann Grasich and her husband Perry, and John Swiatowy; her nieces and nephews, Felicia, Shane, Seth, James, Jeremy, Joey (Audrey), Kenny, Daniel, Kellie (Jacob); great nieces and nephews, Makayla, Landon, and Ben; her Auntie Mary Swiatowy, Uncle Mike Swiatowy and her cousins, Fred, Renate, Annemarie, Todd and Missy;  along with countless people Anna touched throughout her military career.
