Ann Williams

Ann H. Williams, age 86, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away November 25, 2022.

Ann was born December 21,1935 in Gulfport, MS to the late James “Jimmy” H. Harrod and Pauline E. Harrod. Ann was a good student and showed a talent for playing the piano early in her life. Ann continued to study piano and graduated from Long Beach High School in 1953. On November 25, 1953, Ann and Gary A. Williams were married at the Baptist Church in Long Beach. Ann and Gary had 3 children, David, Tim, and Melinda. Due to Gary’s career as a postal inspector, the family lived in several states, including Mississippi, Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Georgia. Ann was a respected piano teacher for over 40 years. Gary passed away in 2016.

Ann is survived by her sons, David and Tim Williams. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and her sister, Jimmie Jane Miller of Long Beach, MS.

Both Ann’s daughter, Melinda Ann Milkowski, and younger sister, Helen Morgan, preceded her in death.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Long Beach City Cemetery.

*If inclement weather arises, the ceremony will take place instead at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Rd. Long Beach, MS.
