Yvonne Branton Strangi Henry

Yvonne Branton Strangi Henry, age 85, of Gulfport, passed away on March 15, 2013 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Zollie Branton and Effie Ginn Keenum; a son, Bruce L. ""Buzzy"" Edwards; and a granddaughter, Carley L. Buehler.
She is survived by two children, Thomas Strangi (Joie) of Biloxi and Karen Buehler (Chrissy) of Ocean Springs; a daughter in law, Rebecca Edwards of Biloxi; two sisters, Myra Branton Wright of Gulfport and Billie Branton Milligan of Oklahoma City, OK; seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Yvette, Chris, Charlotte, Kelli, Karen, Jennifer, and Kaleigh; ten great grandchildren, Shayne, Trae, Jessica, Dustin, Charleigh, Frankie, Chasidy, Jedi, Cully, Evelyn Rose, Camden, and Lauren; and one great great grandchild, Skylar.
Yvonne was a cosmetologist on the Gulf Coast and also worked in Germany on many military bases. She loved to dance and enjoyed classical music. She was an animal lover and a true gardener of flowers. Her favorite hobbies were art and painting. She travelled to many wonderful places in her lifetime. She was lovingly known as ""Cracker"" to her grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd, Biloxi with a visitation from 1:00 PM until the service. Burial will follow at Southern Memorial Park Mausoleum, Biloxi.
