Yoshiko Carroll, age 92 of Long Beach, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Carroll; her father, Yasugi Isozaki of Yokosuka, Japan; her mother, Tama Isozaki of Yokosuka, Japan; and her brother, Tadaski Isozaki of Yokosuka, Japan.
Yoshiko is survived by her beloved daughter, Michiko Isozaki Carroll of Poplarville, MS; her sister, Hishako Iskihawa of Miura, Japan; her brothers, Takhiko Isozaki and Takaski Isozaki both of Miura, Japan; her sister-in-law, Janice Carroll Sabol of Miami, FL; and her brothers-in-law, Roger Carroll of Cleveland, OH, and Dennis Carroll of Buxton, NC.
She was born in Kokeiyou Honcho, Korea, but grew up and went to grade school in Yokosuka, Japan. Yoshiko worked for a US government contractor in Yokosuka, Japan until she married Harold Carroll. They would later move to the United States. She was fluent in Japanese and assimilated gracefully into the American society. She enjoyed cooking Japanese cuisines and was an active member of South Mississippi Regional Center (SMRC) Family and Friends Association.

Graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Ave., Biloxi, MS.
