Wynonia Young Reppond

d. November 25, 2015

Honey, as she was fondly known to by her family and friends, passed away on November 25, 2015.
During her life time, her ""free spirit"" took her on many adventures. She worked most of her life in the Hospitality Industry. She always told me not to put Ms. on her head stone, because she has not missed a thing. She really loved life. Her last employer was Hollywood Casino. She was an avid cook, pastry chef and seamstress. She hand made anything from quilts to baby clothing for anyone who was in need. She also like to can fresh vegetables with her brother-n-law. We use to tease her about her canning 'that if we stood still too long we might be next'. She loved cooking for the holidays, making cakes, pies, candy and other dishes, giving them her final touch.
It's ironic that she died the day before Thanksgiving, which was her favorite holiday. Being the oldest of five children, she always had a story to tell about all of her younger siblings. She spent a lot of time staying in touch with friends and family through Face Book. She was a good prayer warrior.
She was preceded in death by her father, Johnnie L. Young and 3 siblings, Eddie Young, Kay Young Breland and Dolly Young Patterson.
She is survived by her mother, Margie Young Wilson and her sister, Lou (Jimmy) Ladner, one son, Charles T. Young Sr and 2 grandsons, Charles T (Haley) Young, Jr and John Patrick Young. She felt like that her two grandsons were her greatest accomplishments. She will be sadly missed by many family and friends.
Thank you all for your continued prayers and kind words at this time.
