Woodrow Billy Saucier

Woodrow Billy Saucier, age 88 of Gulfport, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016.
Woodrow was born February 2, 1928 in Bogalusa, LA to George Alvin and Mary Louise Bosarge Saucier. He was married to the love of his life, Charlotte Elberta Hill for 62 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; son, Gregory Lynn; daughter, Kathleen Elaine; his brother, Arthur Denton; and a sister, Agnes Holliman.
He is survived by his sons, Stephen George (Karen) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Charlie of Gulfport; sisters, Gladys Willis of Little Rock, AR, and Katie Osborne of Washington, UT; eleven grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Woodrow was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Woodrow proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
Pallbearers will be George Hauersperger, Dawayne Saucier, Daniel Saucier, Seth Saucier, Pete Turner, and Kevin Simmons.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with a visitation for family and friends from 1:00 PM until the service. Burial with military honors will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
