Wiltrude ""Trudy"" Swiatowy, age 74 and a resident of Biloxi, died on Wednesday, January 1, 2014, in Biloxi.
Mrs. Swiatowy had been a resident of Biloxi since 1982 and was a member of the North Bay Area Senior Citizens.
She was preceded in death by her father, Reinhold Hirtz; her mother, Anna Schlumberger (Franz) Kramer and her brother, Ludwig Hirtz.
Trudy is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, James Swiatowy of Biloxi; her children, Michael (Darla) Swiatowy of Ocean Springs, Anna Swiatowy of Biloxi, Margaret (Jeff) Taylor of Owasso, OK, Maryann (Perry) Grasich of Owasso, OK and John (Arie) Swiatowy of Purvis; her grandchildren, Felicia, Shane, Seth, James, Jeremy, Joey, Kenny, Daniel, and Kellie; her great grandchild, Makayla; her sister-in-law, Mary Swiatowy; her brother-in-law, Mike Swiatowy; her nieces, Renate, Ana, and Missy and her nephews, Fred and Todd.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2014, from 12Noon until 2pm at the Le Fleur de Lis, 6650 Rose Farm Road, Suite B in Ocean Springs.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi, assisted the family with arrangements.
