Willie Woodrow ""Bill"" Davis, age 97, a resident of Long Beach, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth D. Hansen Davis; his parents, Charlie and Norene Pierson Davis; his children; Charlie Davis, Joyce Saelens, Lois Pavolini, and infant Ruth Ann Davis; and his grandchildren, Wallace Davis, Tammy J. Moran, and Ryan M. Clark.
Bill is survived by his children, Benny (Anne) Davis, Nora (Mac) Clark, Willie (Mary) Davis, Ella (Tim) Moran, and Ronnie (Lynn) Davis, his sister, Elenora Ladner; and his many, many grandchildren.
Bill and his wife Ruth were nearly married 70 years before her passing in 2008. He enjoyed watching wrestling and loved music. Other interests included gardening, fishing and nature.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 1, 2016 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach with a visitation for family and friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Allen Cemetery.
