Willie Grace Clolinger

July 21, 1930 — September 30, 2013

Sister Willie Grace Clolinger, 83, of Gulfport passed away September 30, 2013 in Gulfport.
In memory of and testimony from a lived, forgiven, sanctified and saved by a true Holy Ghost saint of God Sister Willie Grace Clolinger.
As her life journey began in the year of our Lord July 21, 1930 in a small town Corinth, Mississippi. Then at a special time and day she met and soon married the love of her life, Orvil Clolinger and from this union and bond of matrimony eleven children were born and raised. Sister Willie became a real cook fixen homemade delicious meals especially those good hot cat head biscuits.
Then as God's calling entered her life, she surrendered to the Lord by the new birth experience of being born again, by repentance, baptism in Jesus name, and receiving the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. Then somewhere about 1982 the Lord led her and her family to a small store front church on Dedeaux Road, Gulfport, MS. There she presided faithfully with her family and friends with many of them following her in living for the Lord until her decease September 30, 2013.
As her pastor for nearly 30 years, there are very few people that have inspired me more than Sister Willie. The first impression I received was a beautiful spirit of the true love of God. Sister Willie loved everybody, Sister Willie cared for people, she loved her church, church family, her preacher, and most of all she loved her blessed children and prayed many prayers and prayer request night after night. Church pray for my children. I think and believe the sole purpose of Sister Willie's life was her church, and her children.
There are so many things to be testified about in her life. Her person and soul was of strong determination to overcome and endure, strong in a made up mind, faithful in all through every struggle, every heart ache, never faltering nor shadow of turning but steadfast. She knew how to look the devil in the eye and say you are a LIAR! Halleluiah! Glory to God.
She made every step count on her journey to Heaven, loving her family, friends, and God the Lord Jesus Christ. There is much more to say, what a wonderful journey, a blessed experience, you've run your race Sister Willie enjoy Heaven Forever.
From Pastor B.R. Seymour, a Salute to a Saint of God, Sister Willie Clolinger.
