Mr. William Archie Wilson, age 74 and a resident of Diamondhead, passed away on April 10, 2018 in Biloxi, MS.
He served in the US Navy, loved playing the drums and belonged to the Mississippi Coast Jazz Society. He was also inducted into the Musician's Hall of Fame.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Estelle Wilson; son, William Archie Wilson, Jr.; and one brother, Bart Edmund Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, 47 years, Loyce June Wilson of Diamondhead; two daughters, Richelle Wilson Deharde (Don) of Edgewood, NM, Kimberly Nicole Wilson of Diamondhead; one son, Alford Randolph "Randy" Wilson (Melanie) of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren, Donald, Johnathan, Ana Alyce, Mazie Lexis; sister, Susan Seaman of New Orleans, LA.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 12:30 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Rd. Pass Christian, MS. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors will be held at 2:30 PM at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Ave. Biloxi, MS.
