Tony Thornton, age 56, of Tallulah, Louisiana, passed away on July 11, 2026.

Tony was preceded in death by his nephew, Morgan Salas; his grandparents, Charles and Irene Adams, Bill and Laverne Thornton, and Felix and Dorothy Coleman.

He is survived by his loving parents, Patty Watson, Ralph Thornton, and his stepfather, Jimmy Watson. He also leaves behind his sisters, Stacy Comans (the late Bubba Comans), Renee Pickering, and Kristi Grammer (Ryan Grammer). Tony will be deeply missed by his nephews, Dylan, Taylor, Ryan, Gage, Dalton, Cameron, and Ransom, his nieces, Connie, Whitney, and Brook, as well as many great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Tony found joy in the simple things in life. He loved spending time outdoors, picking flowers and acorns, drawing, watching Walker, Texas Ranger, and had a special fascination with trains, stoplights, and counting money. His gentle spirit, kind heart, and unique way of seeing the world brought happiness to those who knew and loved him.

Though his family will miss him deeply, they find comfort in the many cherished memories he leaves behind and the love he shared throughout his life. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.

Service will be private.
