William Milton Smith, 74 of Diamondhead, passed peacefully in his home on Friday, May 25, 2018.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Alice Smith and William Milton Smith, and his grandparents.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Judith L. Smith; his children, Sean Smith (Katherine), Heather Smith, Jack Finn (Jane) and Angela Caliva (Kevin); his grandchildren, John J. Finn IV, Connor Ryne Finn, Caroline Maria Caliva, Brendon Thomas Caliva, Casey May Caliva and Alaana Panu; his great-grandchild, Koen John Stall; and his beloved dog Izzy.
Mr. Smith was a native of Wheeling, West Virginia and was a resident of Diamondhead. He earned his Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Stamford College in Connecticut. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam, and he was employed in the telecommunications industry for 35 years.
Mr. Smith was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and he enjoyed spending time golfing, gardening and traveling.
The Prayer Service will be held at 12 p.m., Thursday, May 31

at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, Pass Christian, where friends may visit 2 hours prior from 10 a.m. until the service.
The family would like to express their thankfulness to Notre Dame Hospice and Father Paddy at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
