William Rodney Thomas, affectionately known as Billy, passed away on July 10, 2025, in Mississippi at the age of 63. Born on September 19, 1961.
Billy enjoyed a fulfilling career, retiring from the construction industry. He proudly served in the United States Navy for four years.
Billy is survived by his beloved mother, Delores Brendle Thomas; sons, William Rodney (Maribeth) Thomas II and Tyler Murray (Caroline) Thomas; sister, Kimberly Dawn (Joseph) Bonarrigo; nephew, Thomas Stone Belue; and niece, Brendle Dawn Belue. He is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Rodney Thomas.
A Celebration of Life service in honor of Billy will be held on July 27, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Care Baptist Church, located at 849 Fairmont Ave, Spartanburg, SC, 29301.
Billy’s legacy will continue through the lives he touched. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
