William P. Robinson

William P. Robinson Sr. was called home on Monday, June 2, 2014. He was born on June 6, 1925 to Sophronia Seymour Robinson and James Robinson. William attended Biloxi Colored High School and graduated in 1943. As a young man he played all sports and enjoyed being around his brothers, sisters and mother. William was a member and baptized at First Missionary Baptist Church, Biloxi, Mississippi.
William was the last survivor of 12 siblings, and was preceded by his wife Mildred Scott Robinson, and daughter Tauleece, father James Robinson, mother Sophronia Seymour Robinson, brothers James, Edward, Theodore, Lee, Carrol, Herbert and sisters Audrey, Ethel Mae Boulware, Cheney Rogers, and Marion Wilson.
William leaves behind 7 children , William Jr, Cheryl ""Cookie"" Davis, Theadore, Roberta Diane, Cecil, Tanya Baker, and Brian; two daughters-in-law Toni and Rommie and two sons-in-law, Alan Davis and Kirk Baker; grandchildren (11) LaTisha, Julia, Rashad, William II, Bradford, Benita, Nina, Matthew, Sherre, Samuel, and Jasmine; great-grands (6 )Carrington, Tayon, William III, Bradford Jr., Malcolm ,Ethan; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

We hold you close within our hearts and there you shall remain, to walk with us throughout our lives until we meet again. So rest in peace dear loved one, and thanks for all you've done.
We pray that God has given you the crown you've truly won.
Friends are invited to visit from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi. The funeral service will at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, at the funeral home, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Park in Biloxi.
