William David Riser

William David Riser, of Gautier, known to his family and friends as ""David"" departed this life on October 31, 2015.
He was born on September 6, 1945 in Centreville, MS and was raised in Pascagoula by his parents, Jim and Delois Riser. He met his best friend and life partner, Teri Waters Riser whom he married on December 18, 1965 and they began their beautiful journey together.
David was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. Most people remember him from Jim's Tire Store in Pascagoula, MS, a family business that he owned and operated with his brother, Butch Riser, which was started by their father, Jim Riser.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Delois Riser; and his sister, Melinda Wiley.
David is survived by his wife, Teri; a son, Davin, a daughter-in-law, Kim, two grandsons, Josh and Cody; sisters, Ann Pickett and her husband, Sonny, Debbie Price and her husband, Tommy, and Sandy Peterson and her husband, Donald; brothers, Butch Riser and his wife, Sheila, Mike Riser and his wife, Regina, and Robin Riser and his wife, Penny; a brother-in-law, Jerry Wiley; and his loving and devoted companion Rebel.
A celebration of his life will be on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME's Reception Center, 13872 Lemoyne Boulevard at Washington Avenue, Ocean Springs, MS. A service will be held separately at a later date where his ashes will be scattered at his beloved Horn Island.
