With his children at his side, William "Billy" Muszar, Sr. peacefully left this world to be with his Lord Jesus Christ.
Billy was born June 27, 1933 to Leonard Muszar, Sr. and Noemie Landry Muszar in Morgan City, LA. At the age of 18 he was drafted and served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Billy married his love, Lois June Goodman on November 24, 1955 and later moved to Pascagoula to work at Ingalls Shipyard as an outside machinist for 38 years. He worked hard all his life and loved to travel, which he did after retirement. He enjoyed life, traveling, bowling, shooting pool, and just hanging out with his family, but his greatest joy was his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Noemie, sister Velma Muszar Deffes, daughter Barbara Muszar Smith and son-in-law Leroy Smith.
Billy is survived by his son William Muszar, Jr. and his wife Porsche of Abilene, TX, his daughter Tullea Venus and her husband Gordon, of Ocean Springs, ten grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and his best friend David Callender of Ocean springs. He also had several "adopted" grandchildren who called him Grandpa.
He will be remembered for how he loved his family and making everyone laugh. He was the life of the party and will be missed by all who knew him.
