William J. McKnight

William J. McKnight, age 79 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Saturday, November 30, 2013, in Gulfport.
Mr. McKnight was a longtime resident of Gulfport and a member of Gulfport Heights Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and retired as a paint foreman with the Gulfport and Biloxi V.A., after 30 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Fannie McKnight Nations and a son, Ronnie William McKnight.
Mr. McKnight is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Edna McKnight of Gulfport; his sons, Brian (Wanda) McKnight and Keith (Marcie) McKnight all of Saucier; his brother, Raymond Nations of Gulfport; his grandchildren, Brian (Stefanie) McKnight, Jr., Bill (Darrelle) McKnight, Anthony (Serena) McKnight, D.J. (Mary-Kathryn) McKnight, Grace (Tyler) Selby, and Bailey Baker and his great grandchildren, Tyler McKnight, Tanner McKnight, Macee McKnight, Elijah McKnight, and Carter Selby.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 2, 2013, from 6pm-8pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at 10am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Wolf River Cemetery in Harrison County.
