William Henry Johnsey, Jr., age 79 and a resident of the Dedeaux Community, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014, at home.
He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a retired salesman. He was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Johnsey was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Elizabeth Gain Johnsey and his parents, Henry & Rosa Johnsey of Montgomery, AL.
He is survived by his daughters, Kathleen (George) Calvert of Boaz, AL and Janice Jones of Dedeaux Community; his sons, William H. (Cindy) Johnsey, III of Hattiesburg and John (Kathy) Johnsey of Louisville; his sister, Judy (Jim) Newell; 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many nephews, nieces and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, from 6:30pm-9:30pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road in Pass Christian.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at 11am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
